Studio wiz presents a set of instructional Output Arcade video tutorials! Arcade is a deep virtual instrument with enormous creative potential – both in beat-making and sound design. These tutorials will help you quickly find your way and start getting the most out of this powerful plugin. These videos are for new Arcade users. Eli welcomes you and begins with an overview of the plugin, covering the layout, terminology, navigation, and capabilities of Arcade. You’ll learn how to browse through the available kits, samples, etc. and quickly start making sounds that inspire. You’ll then begin to explore the two main “kits” available in Arcade – Sampler Kits and Note Kits – and learn how they can be easily modified for your own use and combined with samples of your own. Next, discover the Kit Generator, which allows you to slice up a sample in various ways, add FX, and more to create kits of your own. Then learn about the Reapeater Modifier and Resequence Modifier, both of which afford vast sound-tweaking possibilities via altering the playback direction (forward or reverse), volume, order of sequence steps, length, speed, and other topics.
Throughout the rest of the course, Eli guides you through the remaining key features, including the kit mixers, advanced edit controls, editing macros, LFO modulation, step modulation, and more. To finish up, follow along as Eli walks through the process of creating your own kit by combining Arcade samples with third party ones. Then learn how to tweak that kit with modifiers, effects, macro slider mapping, MIDI learn, automation, and more!
